Collection Counters
Collection counters meet one Sunday morning every other month at 10:30 am in the secured St. Scholastica room. Each session includes three unrelated individuals, with the same team assigned each time. Counters follow established procedures for counting, documentation, and delivery to the bank.

Donut Sunday – Karen Cerilli Edmunds
Held one Sunday each month from September through May after the 11 am Mass, Donut Sunday offers an opportunity for fellowship among friends, family, and visitors.
Easter Egg Hunt – Tracy Wilhelm
This community event takes place on church grounds on Holy Saturday and is open to all children in the community ages 0 to 10.
Event Hospitality – Annette O’Donnell and Theresa Very (Partner Parishes)
Collaboration between the partner parishes of St. Bruno and St. Paul, welcoming, hosting, and cleaning up for combined parish events.
Fundraising events:
These events provide opportunities for volunteerism, service hours, and building community with parish families, neighbors, and friends.
Lenten Fish Fry – Every Friday during the 6 weeks of Lent and Good Friday in the parish center from 4 pm-7 pm. Good Friday is 2:30 pm-7 pm. (Karen and John Lynch)
Summer Festival – Summer Festival is typically held the second or third weekend in June, on Friday and Saturday from 5 pm to 10 pm, and features activities for all ages. (Jamie Bartley and Jason Harkcom)
Additional events include BINGO and a fall golf outing.
Gardening Ministry – Margo Houck, Paula Horrell
Responsible for planting and maintaining flowers during the spring, summer, and autumn seasons.
Legion of Mary – Stephanie Cavanaugh
The Legion of Mary is an international association of volunteers who seek to bring souls to Christ (Conversion), comfort the suffering (Consolation), and help Catholics grow in faith (Conservation).
Office Volunteers
Office volunteers provide valuable support by assisting with non-confidential tasks, including filling envelopes, assembling bulletins, and distributing materials. They also help connect with families by sending Mass intention reminders, asking for offertory participation, and ordering flowers for church services.
Prayer Chain – Pat Farrell
Pray daily by phone with two parish members for the reception of intentions. If you are unable to participate on a given day, the next person is contacted.
Prayer Shawl Ministry – Tracy Wilhelm
Compassion and the love of knitting/crocheting are joined in this prayerful ministry and spiritual practice that extends to the recipient in need of comfort and solace, as well as to celebration and joy. The shawl maker begins with prayers and blessings for the recipient and continues on throughout the process. The item is blessed with Holy water upon completion, then passed on to the recipient. The shawls/lap blankets can be used for: undergoing medical procedures; comfort after a loss or during times of stress; during bereavement; prayer or meditation; illness; baptisms; birth… the possibilities are endless!
The group meets on Monday evenings in the parish center. Attendance is not mandatory.
